Maya is another proud Arizona native. After graduating with a BA and BS from the University of Arizona, she moved to Phoenix where she continued working in long term care. Maya then finished her BS in Dietetics, and a Master’s degree in Obesity Prevention and Management at Arizona State University.
Maya has over 10 years of experience in the healthcare field working in long-term care facilities; she has seen firsthand the impact that diet has on our ultimate health outcomes.
Maya’s goal is to help clients develop confidence in making healthy behaviors a way of life. She focuses on realistic and sustainable health solutions and behavior change. She feels that skill building and education in healthy eating, cooking, grocery shopping and staying active will help clients make better choices about food and improve their health.
In her free time, Maya enjoys sewing, trying new restaurants, exploring Arizona on dirt bikes with her family, and spending quality time with her two dogs: Domino and Zane.
