Office Policies & Procedures

Congratulations on choosing The Nutrition Professionals. We are excited to help you on your journey to better nutritional health and wellness.  If you have any questions about our ongoing COVID protocols or our standard office policies, please don’t hesitate to contact us online or call 480-294-6543.

COVID PROTOCOLS

Mask requirement

  • All medical office staff will be required to wear masks.
  • All patients will be required to wear a mask for the entire appointment.
    • If a patient cannot wear a mask, they will be asked to schedule a virtual appointment.

Exposure

  • If a patient confirms with us that they have been diagnosed with COVID, we will address who may have been exposed and adjust schedules accordingly.

Appointments

  • We will bring clients in through a side entrance close to our office suites to minimize traffic in the office building.
  • We are checking clients in one at a time, and ask that you wait outside or in your car until it is your turn to be checked in.
  • We are performing temperature checks and will provide hand-sanitizer when you enter the building. If you have a temperature over 100 degrees Fahrenheit, your appointment will be rescheduled.

STANDARD OFFICE POLICIES

  • Your initial appointment with the Registered Dietitian Nutritionist will last approximately 60 minutes. The 60-minute appointment allows you and your Registered Dietitian Nutritionist to address your concerns and determine your personalized nutrition plan.
  • Please bring a list of your medications, recent laboratory results (if available) and any other information you feel will be helpful.
  • Please help us serve you better by keeping scheduled appointments. Kindly give at least a 24-hour notice of cancellation.
  • A $25.00 fee may be assessed for all missed appointments.
  • Our office staff will file all claims to your insurance carrier for all covered services. If we feel the claim was processed incorrectly, we will resubmit the claim to be reprocessed.
  • You are financially responsible for any co-payments, coinsurances, deductibles, and all charges which are not covered by your insurance.
  • You are responsible for all charges if it is determined that the information you have provided is not correct. Please notify The Nutrition Professionals if there are any changes to your insurance and/or contact information.
  • We accept cash, checks and major credit cards.
  • The Registered Dietitian Nutritionists look forward to working with you to meet your health goals.
